I like the title 😊 and did wonder how you got the text from the book! Also $$ thought.., what is too much, what is too little? Going without certain things allows you access to other things but what about people who don’t have enough $ for either? That choice is in someone else hands. What does that do to a child’s worldview?

Thanks for the post

GLAD you liked the title, Becky! (I only chose it with much fear & trepidation!)

RE: Your thought that people without enough $ for either--wow, that is hard, right? And even if they DO qualify for certain resources/programs, (in the U.S./the Western world) they may not know about them! Or the process might be too humiliating for them to apply!

Right? ...we're all SO vulnerable as children. I was re-reading part of "Hillbilly Elegy," and shocked by the author's worries about how he "might turn out" as an adult. (He was running scared!)

(Thank you for feedback--I'd forgotten I'd even asked those questions! :) )
